Description: A varied site loved by climbers, walkers and families alike, it aims to provide a natural “outdoor” feel by blending in well with the surrounding countryside. Open all year round with just Easter and August requiring bookings of at least 3 nights. Tariff ranges from £12.00 per 2 adult tent in low season up to £22 for a serviced pitch on bank holidays. A single backpacking camper can stay for as little as £6. The site is well located for easy travelling to Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston and Keswick. The site also provides a bunkhouse for those needing more than canvas over their heads and the Brotherside Inn offers roaring fires and good food for anyone braving the winter season. The pub also provides breakfasts.
